Pokhara has three distinct seasons. Autumn (Oct–Nov) brings crisp mountain views while spring is ideal for rhododendron blooms.

The 200 km route takes 6–7 hours. Book a front seat for views, carry a light jacket and expect a comfort stop at Kurintar.

Carry your licence and citizenship or passport, check the vehicle condition at handover, and avoid night driving on mountain roads.
